Voice shifts

Today when David (the pca who works sometimes) came to my apartment to work, he asked me,"do you have a cold or something?" after I got done speaking to him. I did notice that my voice started sounding more hoarse lately and I'm thinking that I know the probable cause of it- because my throat wasn't sore until after this happened but I was also just thinking about how my voice was sounding similar to how my grandma's voice sounded but then my voice switched to it's normal tone because I kept sighing tiredly and my voice seems to shift whenever I sigh. My grandma acted annoyed with the fact that I would always sigh.. I'm not sure if it's because she figured out that it's the only thing that was keeping my voice from sounding hoarse and scratchy all the time and she wanted us to be as similar as possible because she would always go on about how we were so alike all the time? I do know that she'd be honestly disappointed with both Erin and Amanda for not helping me get to new York.
